If you've collected more than one crystal, there's usually a moment where you look at the pile on your dresser and wonder if any of them are still doing what you brought them home for.
Selenite doesn't need cleansing itself
Unlike most stones, selenite is believed to never hold onto what it clears — it's an emitter, putting out a steady, neutral frequency rather than absorbing anything itself. That's what makes it useful as a base for resetting everything else in your collection at once.
The plate as a charging station
Set your selenite charging plate somewhere it won't be disturbed — a shelf, a windowsill, a corner of your desk — and place your other stones directly on top overnight. Amethyst, rose quartz, tiger's eye, whatever's been getting daily use, all at the same time.
Morning after
Pick each stone back up in the morning. There's no ceremony to it — just noticing which ones feel different in your hand, lighter or cooler than when you set them down.
How often
Once every couple weeks keeps a regularly used collection feeling fresh. More often during a stretch when you're leaning on your stones daily.
If your collection has been feeling a little dull lately, a night on the selenite plate is usually enough to bring it back.
